Abstract

This paper presents the final release of the SALSA corpus, a German resource for lexical semantics. Release 2.0 provides new annotations for German nouns, complementing the annotations of German verbs in Release 1.0. In the paper describe the workflow in SALSA, discuss our efforts to ensure annotation quality, and report inter-annotator agreement. We also offer a detailed discussion of methodological choices made in SALSA and compare them to the approach taken by its sister project, FrameNet.
